Binding Journals
Martin Publishing and Bindery also provides services for binding journals. We strive to deliver professional and durable binding consistently in all our bindings, to provide matching volumes strong enough to endure the inevitable wear in libraries. If you already have bound volumes, send us a sample and we'll match the materials.
Rebinding Library books and Textbooks
Unlike some other binderies, however, our rebinding techniques preserve the structure of the book, in order to offer superior strength. Instead of cutting off the spine of the book and gluing the pages back into a book, as some industrial binderies do, we re-sew the signatures, assemble them into a text block, round and back the spines, which greatly improves the strength of the book, and assemble a new cover with a quality, durable book cloth or leather. The resulting books will seem like a brand new volumes.
The price of a rebinding may vary depending on the size and condition of the book, please call or email us for a quote.
